Why Organic

Organic Meadow milk is pasteurized and we add Vitamins A and D, as law requires. Our cream is pure and delicious. Our butter is made the old-fashioned way – churn, churn, churn – using specific cultures to make it more flavourful. Most of our hard cheeses are rennet and pepsin free (except for Old).

Yogurt and cottage cheese are made with live cultures that are healthy for you. Organic Meadow eggs are graded in a grading station using methods that guarantee quality and wholesomeness.

All Organic Meadow products are processed using methods which protect the quality and wholesomeness of the end product. Most importantly, we pack our products as quickly and carefully as possible, in order to ensure optimum freshness, taste and nutritional value.

Organic Meadow tries to support local, family owned and operated dairies, such as Steen’s Dairy located in Erin, Ontario.
