Organic Meadow has partnered with the members of Manitoba Organic Milk Co-operative Ltd. to produce fluid milk that is made on Manitoba farms, packaged in a Manitoba dairy and sold in Manitoba. The making of MOM’s has been a long time coming. It was formally registered in Manitoba in August of 2006. It was formed by seven Manitoba dairy producers united in their quest to produce organic milk for Manitoba consumers. MOM’s has worked hard with dairy Farmers of Manitoba to develop a sustainable, stable organic milk stream in this province. Two of the seven founding farms are now certified organic and you can find their product in local Winnipeg grocery stores including:
